Our Department's Vocational Training in the Workplace (KOOP Training Model)
As part of our department’s Work-Based Vocational Training (KOOP Training Model) program, during the Fall Semester of the 2022–2023 academic year, our student Semih Korkmaz, who completed his long-term internship at SEFT Engineering, and our student Emircan Özyurt, who completed his at SANMAR Shipyard, represented our department in the best possible way and shared their experiences with our senior students immediately after their exams.

Awards Were Presented at the 11th National Ship and Yacht Design Competition
At the 11th National Ship and Yacht Design Competition Awards Ceremony, organized by the Association of Ship, Yacht, and Related Services Exporters, our students once again made their mark, just as they do every year. In this competition, themed “Next-Generation Coaster Ship Design,” our students were recognized with first, second, and third place awards, as well as special jury awards, for their innovative, creative, and environmentally friendly designs.
