CURRENT ANNOUNCEMENTS    

  • As of 2023, within the scope of the Paperless Erasmus Project (Erasmus Without Paper/EWP), the Learning Agreement will now be prepared online without the use of paper via https://learning-agreement.eu/. This online document is referred to as the Online Learning Agreement (OLA).
  • If the host institution has not yet adopted the OLA system, you can still prepare your document through the system, obtain your own signature and that of your YTU departmental coordinator, then download the document as a PDF and send it via email to the host institution for signature.

PAST ANNOUNCEMENTS                                                                                               :

  • Click here to download the outgoing student notification form prepared based on the meeting held for the 2022-2023 Erasmus activity.
  • Dear students, the candidate list for participation in the 2022-2023 Erasmus activity has been received. A general information meeting will be held on April 8 (Friday) at 10:00 AM, and a student placement meeting will take place on April 11 (Monday) at 10:00 AM. Both meetings will be held in Room T-304. Participation is mandatory; students with valid excuses must inform the Erasmus office via email in advance. (06.04.2022)
  • Two of our students have renounced their Erasmus rights at the University of Liège (Université de Liège). This is announced for the information of our students. (Update: June 22, 2021)
  • Two of our students have renounced their Erasmus rights at the Technical University of Berlin and the National Technical University of Athens. This is announced for the information of our students. (Update: September 24, 2021)

  • Reminders Regarding Course Changes

 

  • Regarding the Recognition of Language Courses:

    • Any language course taken abroad may be counted as an equivalent to language courses in the department’s course list, provided that it meets the credit eligibility requirements (e.g., German, English, Spanish, etc., can be considered equivalent to courses such as English Reading and Speaking or English for Business). However, language courses taken abroad cannot be counted as equivalents to other elective courses in the department’s course list.
    • Graduate students cannot take or transfer language courses to fulfill the ECTS requirements in their Learning Agreement (LA).

     

  • REGARDING LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVELS FOR ERASMUS STUDENTS
    • Certain Erasmus partner universities require specific language proficiency certificates, as listed below. Students who already possess these documents will be given priority in placements, regardless of their scores.
    • University of Strathclyde – SCOTLAND: Our agreement covers two semesters, and the host institution requires an IELTS score of 6.5 or above.
    • FH Kiel – GERMANY: The host institution requires a B2-level certificate from the Goethe Institute (Turkey) for Erasmus students. Students below B2 level will not be accepted.
    • TU Berlin – GERMANY: The host institution requires a B1-level certificate from the Goethe Institute (Turkey) for Erasmus students. Students below B1 level will not be accepted. (TU Berlin – GERMANY only accepts graduate students.)
